Virtual Productions provides high quality scoring and post-production sound services for film, TV, advertising and game clients. The facility is home to composer & sound designer Michael Damon. With an array of the latest digital technology coupled with an extensive collection of instruments and sound creation tools, Virtual Productions is equipped to meet most any musical or sonic challenge.

Michael honed his audio skills as a freelance composer & engineer working in top New England music and post-production studios. Since establishing Virtual Productions in 2001 he has focused his energies toward original music and sound design work. The son of two classical musicians, Michael is an accomplished composer and multi-instrumentalist fluent in a wide range of musical styles. His compositions draw from diverse influences encompassing film, classical, rock and world music.

Damon's composing credits include feature films, documentaries, commercials and music library work. Among the highlights are The Pyramid Code, airing on The Documentary Channel, The Tested (Best of the Fest, 2006 LA Shorts Fest) and Peripheral Vision (Audience Choice award, 2009 Long island Film Fetival). His library pieces have appeared in promos for Law and Order:SVU, Monk, Medium, House, Numb3rs, The Biggest Loser and many others.

Damon is active in post-production sound as well, serving as the sound designer for the Sundance award winning Gowanus, Brooklyn, precursor to the Academy-nominated feature Half Nelson. He is also an accomplished voice talent providing voiceovers and voice acting for commercials, film trailers, corporate videos and computer games.
