Virtual
Productions is built on three traditional cornerstones: Creativity,
Professionalism and Quality. Owners Michael and Carolyn Damon
have established a facility offering music, film, corporate and
game clients access to a comprehensive array of technology in
a relaxed, creative setting.

The
name says "Virtual" but there is nothing virtual about
Michael or Carolyn's resumes. Michael honed his audio skills as
a freelance engineer working in top New England music and post-production
studios. Since opening the facility in 2001 he has focused his
energies toward music and sound design work for independent films,
computer games and music libraries. The son of two classically
trained musicians, Michael is an accomplished composer and multi-instrumentalist
fluent in a wide range of musical styles. His credits include
promo music for NBC (Medium, Justice, House, Law & Order:SVU,
Third Watch, The Biggest Loser), USA Networks (Monk) and Fox Speed
Channel (Unique Whips). He has composed several film scores including
The Tested, which took the top prize at the 2006 LA International
Short Film Festival, premiering on BET's "Best Shorts"
program in late 2006. Michael was also the sound designer for
Gowanus, Brooklyn, which won the jury prize for Best Short at
the 2004 Sundance Festival and went on to become the Academy-nominated
feature Half Nelson.
Michael
is actively involved with engineering and production for music
artists as well. Recent highlights include "Running To Be
Gone" and "Never Change", the debut EP and followup
CD from former John Mayer sideman Joe Beleznay, and the "Seasons
of Change" and "Christ Is Born" CDs from Christian
singer-songwriter Carolyn Cavanagh.
